Well, I added a script that grabs the “private” pictures on a profile.

This will only work under the condition that the pictures are under a public folder on a private (or public for that matter) profile.

The script will link you to the Myspace page that will let you view and post comments to the picture.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Okay, I updated the scripts once again, this is what I changed/added:

*The loading of the Info, Comments and Tracker grabber scripts should be lightning fast now!
*The “Grab Profile Info” script will now show you top friends.

Enjoy using the scripts, and tell your friends about the site!

I’ve set something up to have the scripts back up temporarily. It should work for everyone, and you only have to use the same link to get to them.

Okay, here’s an update on what’s going on with the Myspace scripts.

Currently, my web host is having problems loading remote files, which means that you won’t be able to get the scripts to work. Hopefully they’ll fix this problem soon.

On the brighter side, I have been working on ways to make the scripts load even faster, because to me, they started feeling sluggish. Well, I found one, and I’ve gotten pages to load in less than a second, and most under 3 seconds on my test server (non-public of course).

For a more technical explanation, I just noticed that Myspace compresses their pages using gzip. I just rewrote part of the scripts to take advantage of that.

I’ll post again if anything interesting happens.

Thanks for visiting! Don’t forget to tell your friends about the site!

Well, I got around to updating the RSS Comments script.

Changes:
*Changed the way the script handles msplinks
*Link changer should no longer have trouble with Photobucket links.
*Now using the same code for the grab comments and the rss version of the script.
*The RSS script should once again ouput valid XML even with Photobucket links in the text.
