Do you have the friendID of the profiles you're trying the scripts with? Make sure the person is added as your friend on Myspace. If not, make sure the person's profile is public.
Remember, the script will only let you see whatever YOU can see on a person's Myspace page. If you can only see a private profile, then the scripts can only "see" whatever a private profile has (no comments, no pictures, etc.)
